Walgreens Trip 4/28

Ok, so I go to Walgreens with my list, here's what I picked up...

4 Walgreens 81 mg Asprin on clearance for $0.50 each
2 Got2b products on sale for 2/$10
1 Air Wick Candle on sale for $4.99

I used the following:

2- $2 off Got2B products
1- $3 off Airwick Candle
3- $1 RR

Total: $8.01
used Gift Card: $6.59
Paid: $1.42 oop

Now, I should have had a $5 RR print out, didn't write it on the list, didn't realize it until I left the store. Went back to the store, asked what I had done wrong so I could correct it. They told me their catalina machine was broken and the guy who had rang me up apologized and called the manager up to the front to fix it. Here's where the story gets odd. The manager works some sort of "management magic" on the register, smiles, and walks off. The guy who rang me up walks back over with my products, puts them back in my bag, then hands me $10.60 in cash. What??? Yeah, I know. I said, "oh, are we going to re-ring them?" He says, "nope. Have a nice day." So as I leave the store with my bag and a handful of money, I feel like I have stole something. And you know, I'm still not so sure I didn't!!! This was certainly the most interesting trip I've ever had to Walgreens. I think I'll bake them some cookies to ease my "guilty" conscience!
